Hi there! I'm Larissa, founder and flower-obsessed heart behind The Bloom Lab.

When I’m not wrangling stems and styling blooms, you’ll find me wrangling something else—namely my two hilarious and strong-willed daughters, Ellie and Millie, alongside my equally brave fiancé, Travis. We share our home with two quirky cats, Finn and Ghost, and our resident chaos coordinator, a ferret named Phoebe (yes, like Friends—she lives up to the name).

Flowers have been part of my life since I was about 13, when my Papa would leave me in charge of watering and feeding his beloved garden while he was away. I took the job very seriously—especially when it came to his towering, two-story rose bush (which I swear could’ve qualified as a national monument). Every summer, we’d prep his geraniums for the Fourth of July, and to this day, it’s still my favorite holiday—fireworks and florals? Say less.

Most of my inspiration still comes from memories like those… and from my happy place: Mahoney’s Garden Center in Winchester, where I can be found petting the herbs and spending way too much on peonies.

The Bloom Lab is my little dream turned into a real-life, petal-filled business. I believe flowers should feel personal, joyful, and just a little bit wild. Whether you're planning a wedding, sending love, or just want to bring some beauty home—I’m so glad you’re here.
