Is there a minimum floral investment?
Yes. To ensure every couple receives the personalized design experience we're known for, we have a minimum floral investment for full-service weddings.
New England Weddings: Beginning at $4,500
Destination Weddings: Beginning at $8,500
Every proposal is custom and tailored to your venue, guest count, floral priorities, and overall vision. Whether you're planning an intimate celebration or a multi-day wedding weekend, we design each experience specifically for you.
Do you travel for weddings?
Absolutely.
The Bloom Lab is proudly based in Boston and designs weddings throughout New England and across the United States. Whether you're celebrating on the coast, at a private estate, in the mountains, or somewhere completely new, we'd love to bring your floral vision to life.
Travel costs are customized based on your location, logistics, and design scope.
What is your floral design style?
Our work is known for its romantic, garden-inspired feel with natural movement, seasonal blooms, and thoughtful texture. While our designs often lean organic and editorial, every wedding is customized to reflect your personal style rather than a signature recipe.
How far in advance should we book?
Most couples reserve their date 6–12 months before their wedding, especially for peak wedding season. We recommend reaching out as soon as you've secured your venue so we can begin designing together.
Can we request specific flowers?
Of course! We love hearing about your favorite blooms.
Because flowers are seasonal and availability can vary, we design around your color palette and overall aesthetic first, then source the best blooms available to bring your vision to life. If a specific flower isn't available, we'll always suggest beautiful alternatives that maintain the same look and feel.
What does your booking process look like?
It all starts with your inquiry.
Within 72 hours, you'll receive a custom floral proposal designed specifically for your wedding. We'll then schedule a proposal review to walk through every detail together and answer any questions.
Once your contract is signed and your retainer is received, your wedding date is officially reserved, and we dedicate our planning schedule around your celebration.
From there, we'll create your personalized Bloom Blueprint—a detailed design guide outlining inspiration photos, floral selections, placement notes, logistics, and everything our team needs to execute your wedding flawlessly.
What is the Bloom Blueprint?
The Bloom Blueprint is our signature planning guide and a core part of The Bloom Lab experience.
It includes your inspiration photos, floral selections, installation notes, timelines, venue logistics, and every design detail we've developed together. Before your wedding, you'll review the entire document to ensure everything is exactly as you envisioned.
On wedding day, it's the same guide our team uses during setup, ensuring every floral detail is placed intentionally and executed exactly as planned.
Do you provide setup and breakdown?
Yes.
Our full-service weddings include delivery, professional installation, on-site styling, and post-event breakdown, so you can enjoy your day knowing every floral detail has been taken care of.
What happens to our flowers after the wedding?
We love helping your flowers continue bringing joy beyond your wedding day.
Many couples choose to have us create petite guest bouquets during the final hour of the reception so guests can take home flowers as a meaningful keepsake.
If you'd prefer to share your flowers with the community, we're happy to coordinate donations to local nursing homes, assisted living communities, hospitals, or other organizations whenever possible.
We're always happy to discuss the option that feels best for your celebration.
Do you work with wedding planners and venues?
Absolutely—we love collaborating with planners, venues, photographers, and fellow vendors.
Clear communication and coordination are a key part of our process. We work closely with your team to manage logistics, delivery timing, installation requirements, and floral placement so everything comes together seamlessly on your wedding day.
Whether you're working with a full-service planner, a day-of coordinator, or planning independently, we're here to make the floral experience smooth and stress-free.
Do you offer rentals?
Yes. We offer a curated collection of vessels, candle holders, floral mechanics, and design elements that complement our floral work.
Rental availability varies based on your design and collection.
Do you use sustainable floral practices?
Whenever possible, yes.
We prioritize eco-conscious mechanics, minimize floral foam use, source locally when seasonally available, and thoughtfully manage materials to reduce waste throughout the design process.
We also love extending the life of wedding flowers through guest arrangements and community donations whenever possible.
Why choose The Bloom Lab?
Because your wedding flowers should feel personal, intentional, and completely your own.
Every wedding we design is fully custom. We take the time to understand your vision, thoughtfully source every bloom, and create a seamless experience from your first inquiry through wedding day installation.
Our goal isn't just to design flowers—it's to create an experience where you feel confident, cared for, and fully present on one of the most meaningful days of your life.

How does The Bloom Lab approach color palettes?
At The Bloom Lab, each floral design begins with a thoughtfully curated color palette that reflects your wedding aesthetic, season, and venue. Rather than selecting a single color, we design with layered tones—combining hero blooms, soft supporting shades, and textural accents to create arrangements that feel natural, dimensional, and refined.
Your palette is finalized through our Design Journal process, where we review the tones you loved most from your proposal and refine the balance of colors across bouquets, ceremony florals, and reception arrangements.
